Manajemen Asuhan Kebidanan Bayi Baru Lahir pada Bayi Ny "R" dengan Hiperbilirubin di RSUD Syekh Yusuf Gowa Tahun 2022

Hyperbilirubinemia is a clinical phenomenon due to the high production and low excretion of bilirubin, which causes the yellow color on the sclera and skin. The major purpose of this research was to investigate and conduct a midwifery care management on a newborn with the case of hyperbilirubinemia at the general hospotal of Syech Yusuf Gowa in 2022. The 7-stage of Varney management approach was emplyed in this study. The findings of this study indicated that in the caring management given to the baby “R” with the case of pathological hyperbilirubinemia, there were no obstacles and problems found by the health workers. The monitoring was carried out several times in 5 visits for a 13-day period. During the care, the baby’s skin and sclera had been apparent to be yellow since June 24, 2022. In addition, the baby’s reflexes in sucking and swallowing were weak since June 23th. the total bilirubin from LAB examination was 11.77 mg/dL. After the treatments were given, it was apparent that the baby’s skin and sclera were no longer yellow, while the bilirubin levels were back to normal on July 13th, 2022. On June 25 , 2022. This study was conducted by utilizing the 7-stage of Varney management the approach and SOAP documentation procedure. This study showed that the analysis on patient’s condition was conducted in order to check the bilirubin’s levels. Afterwards, treatments were given based on the correct procedures. It was noticeable that there was no kernicterus during the conduct of treatments. Therefore, it could be concluded that the findings of this study aligned with the previous studies and theories
